Cinema 4D Tutorial

In our previous tutorial with Jay we learnt a couple of basic skills within Cinema 4D. This is the first time i’ve ever used it and at first it looked a little daunting, however, after listening to Jays tutorial it felt a little easier. I did have to ask him for some advice and help on occasion but he was happy to help!

We first created a 3D cube and learnt how to adjust height, width and create movement using grids. It was quite confusing but I managed to get there in the end! We then moved onto using a 3D circle and adding a map to it to create a globe effect. It wasn’t straight forward and my computer’s setting were a little different to those Jay were using but eventually I got to the same level he was at. It was really interesting to see how 3D objects were made for animation and how much time and effort is needed for such simple things!
