Composition Research: Posters

For our packaging brief we were asked to collect and print off 4 posters and ask someone to trace where their eyes go first when they look at the image. Trying to explain this to someone without showing them the images first was rather difficult but eventually they got it!

They originally drew on the posters with a sharpie but as my printer is running out of ink the colours didn’t work properly. They did it anyway and I copied up their drawings on Illustrator so it was easier to see, here are the originals:

    My eyes followed pretty much the patterns shown for all images except for the first, where I think my eyes went straight for Ms. Hepburn’s figure. Must be to do with being male.
