Saul Bass – The Man Who Influenced

23/10/2013 § Leave a comment

After being introduced to Saul Bass (in my previous post), I wanted to take a deeper look into his work and his style. I genuinely love everything about his method and his works appearance. No two pieces are the same and they have such an old fashioned vibe too them when actually, they look fresh and modern. In my last post I uploaded a couple of images of his work and just wanted to introduce you to some of his animated work:

It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963)

These following few videos are not made by the man himself, however they are heavily influenced by his work:

Catch Me If You Can (2002) Steven Spielberg

Mad Men (2007) Matthew Weiner

Fight Club (1999) David Fincher

Psycho (1960) Alfred Hitchcock
