Introduction to After Effects: Creating a Slideshow

Jay’s class on 3D and Animation is slowly becoming one of my favourite classes! Unfortunately Jay couldn’t make it to his class last week but kindly made a tutorial on how to create a slideshow in After Effects. This may be a very basic step for most of you out there, but we’re beginners so we need to start somewhere!

The whole user interface looks a little daunting when starting it up but after using his tutorial, it wasn’t scary at all! The navigation bar (shelf) is straight forward to use and importing and exporting files is simple! I was pleasantly surprised with the software and myself!

I didn’t manage to get screen grabs  of all the steps I took but here are a couple just so you get the idea…

This is my final outcome from the tutorial, simple but that was the aim!
